Some things are better together!

We are so excited to kick off the 2024-25 season! While nearly half of our classes are full, there’s still room in plenty others if your dancer is asking for “just one more class”! Our Fall Program Guide shows all classes according to age, listed according to weekday to easily find back-to-back classes!

Can little kids really handle taking classes back to back? YES!!  Most kids as young as three can start (and SHOULD start) doing class for more than 30 minutes a week.  Offering in small chunks rather than a bunch of combo classes allows parents to customize their child’s schedule.  Also, changing activities often keeps the class fresh and interesting.  We teach preschool camps for 1.5 hours and those kids are engaged the entire time.  That’s essentially three 30-minute classes or two 45-minute classes.  Older kids?  They can handle even more!

To maximize the benefits of dance, consider having your child take class MULTIPLE DAYS A WEEK. Taking classes more than one day a week progresses dancers much faster. Even if the classes are working on different things. DANCING at least twice a week is really the key. So go ahead and try an additional class for your child this year. We have plenty of options back to back or go a little further and add another day! Two or more days of dance also means that if your child is sick they aren’t missing ALL their classes that week.

Don’t forget technique classes! Acro, Leaps/Turns/Jumps, and Ballet are all graded technique classes that take dancers to the next level. New dancers should start in level 1 classes. Experienced dancers may contact the studio to set up an evaluation. As Acro and Leaps/Turns/Jumps are not performance classes, there is no year-long commitment. Students may drop or add any time there is room in the class.
