Power of Dance studio in Green Bay, Wisconsin is looking to hire dance instructors for a variety of positions. We offer classes for ages two through adult as well as competitive teams for ages 5-18. Our studio offers something for everyone with ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom, tap, contemporary/lyrical, pointe, acro and targeted skill classes, among other offerings.  As we continue to grow, we are looking for energetic forward-thinking people who want to make a difference in the lives of young people. Applicants should be organized, have good communication skills, self-discipline, an upbeat personality, patience, a desire to motivate and inspire children and a willingness to grow and work with a team.

Junior Faculty Program

The Junior Faculty Program at Power of Dance is a fantastic opportunity for our experienced dancers to not only share their love of dance but also to gain valuable experience in a leadership role. All Junior Faculty commitments are for the entire season. We offer three different levels of participation, each with their own requirements, expectations, and responsibilities:

DEMONSTRATOR

  • Applicants must be at least 10 years old and enrolled in Level 1+ or higher technique classes.
  • These students assist with one children’s class per week for the purpose of demonstrating technique and combinations for younger dancers.

CLASSROOM HELPER

  • Applicants must be at least 10 years old and enrolled in Level 1+ or higher technique classes.
  • These students assist with one children’s class per week in a more interactive role than demonstrators. Classroom helpers will be asked to use their voice more often and provide feedback to students.

TEACHING ASSISTANT

  • Applicants must be at least 13 years old and enrolled in Level 2 or higher technique classes.
  • These students assist up to two nights per week, up to four hours per week. Teaching assistants will be asked to lead warmups and supervise the class if the teacher needs to step out, and they will also work more closely with students in groups and individually.
