POD Scholarship Program
Power of Dance strongly believes that ALL children should be able to participate in dance education, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Our scholarship program aims to make that happen for passionate dancers each year. Proceeds from concessions and flower sales at our annual recital fund the bulk of this account, as well as donations from generous families. We thank everyone who has ever contributed to our scholarship fund in order “give a chance to dance”.
Each year, a limited number of scholarships are available to dancers who have financial need. Scholarships may be used to cover part of tuition, costumes, shoes, and (in some situations) competition fees, but will not cover travel expenses. Dancers (or parents of very young ones) who receive scholarships will be asked to “give back” to the studio or “pay it forward” to the community. They will also be required to participate in individual fundraising during the 2024-2025 season.

Send completed applications to Elizabeth (elizabeth@powerofdance.com). You can also nominate a dancer if you feel they are in need of scholarship help and we will reach out to them.
