Tween & Teen Summer Program
CLASSES FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 4TH GRADE AND UP
Our Tween & Teen summer program is designed for dancers of all experience levels—whether your child is brand new to dance or continuing to grow their skills. Camps and classes are structured to challenge and support each dancer, encouraging personal growth, confidence, and a deeper understanding of movement in a positive, motivating environment.
Dancers are encouraged to explore multiple styles, and our summer schedule makes it easy to try a variety of classes. This flexibility allows dancers to discover new interests, build versatility, and continue progressing at their own pace.
Summer is a great time to start something new or take your training further—without a long-term commitment—while staying active, engaged, and inspired.
Momentum Dance Lab
At this four-day youth camp, dancers ages 6-9 get to experiment with every style of dance, plus fun extras like acro and leaps/turns/jumps. Team games bring dancers together, building new friendships along the way. For continuing dancers, this camp keeps their skills fresh and offers a strong foundation heading into summer classes.
WHO: students entering 1st through 4th grades
WHEN: Monday June 15 through Thursday June 18, 1-4pm each day

Summer Dance Intensive
This camp week is an exciting chance for tween & teen dancers to stay active, try new styles, and grow their skills! With classes grouped by age and experience, dancers of every level feel supported and challenged. Experienced dancers will stay sharp, while new dancers can explore styles like Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Acro, and more in a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere.
WHO: students entering 5th through 12th grades
WHEN: Monday June 22 through Thursday June 25, 1-5pm each day
PRICE: $210 includes free t-shirt
Four-week summer session: July 6-30
Classes run for four weeks and may end with a parent performance during the final class. We encourage both new and returning dancers to take multiple styles in order to discover their favorites. Classes are scheduled with back-to-back options for parent convenience.

Tween & Teen Class Descriptions
Acro 1+
A great starting point for older beginners or those continuing to build their acro foundation. Acro is “tumbling for dance,” combining gymnastics and hip-hop tricks on both a mat and a dance floor. Dancers develop strength, technique, and flexibility while building control and confidence.
Ballet 1+
A great starting point for older beginners or dancers continuing to build their ballet foundation. Focus on proper technique, strength, and coordination through barre and center work.
Contemporary/Lyrical 1+
Explore dynamic movement and expression. Dancers will work on fluidity, control, and musicality through expressive choreography. This class encourages confidence and connection to movement while continuing to develop technique in a welcoming, growth-focused environment. Dancers must also be enrolled in Ballet 1+ to take this class.
Hip Hop 1+
This high-energy class focuses on fun, dynamic choreography while building confidence, musicality, and style. Dancers will explore grooves, isolations, and performance skills in a supportive environment that challenges them to push themselves and have a great time doing it. Perfect for both beginners and dancers ready for something more.
Jazz 1+
Take your jazz skills to the next level! This class features energetic choreography while building strength, flexibility, and technique through turns, kicks, and jumps. Dancers will grow in confidence, style, and performance quality in a fun and supportive environment.
Kick 1+
This class focuses on the fundamentals of kick technique including proper placement, timing, and flexibility. Dancers build strength and coordination while learning basic kick combinations. Designed for dancers new to kick as well as those with introductory experience. Highly recommended for anyone considering kick team.
Leaps, Turns & Jumps 1+
Leaps/Turns/Jumps teaches dancers how to do the “tricks” of dance. Beginners will focus on basic technique, while returning students will work on perfecting skills and more advanced variations. Taking Strength & Flexibility beforehand is strongly recommended to help dancers warm up and get the most out of class.
Pom 1+
Bring the energy! This fun, fast-paced class focuses on sharp motions, jumps, turns, and exciting choreography that builds strength and confidence. Dancers will work on precision and performance while developing their own style in a supportive environment that keeps them motivated and moving. Perfect for anyone ready to jump in or take their skills to the next level.
Strength & Flexibility 1+
Focus on improving flexibility, strength, and control with exercises that prepare dancers for more advanced skills. Strongly recommended before LTJ.
