Adult Dance 101

FOR AGES 18 AND UP

Learn the basics of a variety of dance styles in a fun and welcoming environment! This class is easy enough for beginners but still enjoyable for those with previous dance experience. Each week includes simple choreography, movement, and technique in a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere.

Four-week summer session: July 6-30

Whether you danced years ago or have never stepped into a studio before, Adult Dance 101 offers something for everyone. Along with being a great workout and a chance to unwind, dancers often find themselves learning more about dance terminology, technique, and the skills they see in classes and performances.

Each class begins with a short warm-up and stretch, followed by combinations and skills that build into a short routine. Different styles of dance are explored throughout the session, making every class a little different. Summer is a great time to try it out — no commitment, no performances, just exercise, socialization, learning, and fun.

Our summer class meets for four weeks, Mondays 6:30-7:30. Each week will focus on a different style of dance, and will teach basics while also including advanced variations for those with a dance background.
