Koree Brosig is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Green Bay, Wisconsin. She discovered her love for dance before she could walk and began formal training at just two years old at Shirley Van’s Dance Studio, where she trained until graduating high school. For 11 years, Koree was a committed member of The Dance Company, where she performed in numerous full-length productions. Her standout roles include Clara in The Nutcracker, Young Anna in Frozen, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Ursula in The Little Mermaid.
Koree earned her BFA in Dance with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, along with a certification in Pilates. During her college career, she performed in Milwaukee-based productions, including For The Wolves under the direction of Ashley Ray Garcia. Her original work Happy Birthday! was selected to be featured in Get It Out There, a local dance showcase celebrating emerging choreographers. From there it was chosen to be a part of Hope for Milwaukee, a festival celebrating dance in the Milwaukee area.
She has trained under acclaimed artists such as Maria Gillespie, Mair Culbreth, Dawn Springer, Daniel Burkholder, and Ishmael Konney. She also interned with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City as a Resident Community Advisor, supporting students during the school’s summer intensives.
Koree’s favorite dance styles include ballet, contemporary, and jazz. She currently teaches ballet and technique classes with a focus on artistry, alignment, and confidence in movement.
