It’s all about having fun and creative movement. Our pre-school program puts an emphasis on learning about rhythm, tempo variations, counting beats, body positions, basic dance technique, and expression through music, dance, and tons of encouragement. We use tons of props, bright colors, shapes and simple “games” to teach our pre-schoolers through play. We encourage using our imagination and being expressive in our music interpretation while stressing both fine and gross motor skills. Dance Expressions is about building a foundation for the love of dance as well as basic dance technique and terminology. Children in this class WILL learn a routine to perform in our end of the year production.
