Petite Dance (Dance Expressions 2) – Pre-requisite- Dance Expressions and must have teacher recommendation- OR must be able to exhibit the knowledge presented and taught in Dance Expressions. This class will include all of the elements presented in Dance Expressions with a focus of continued learning through play and exploration. In addition- students will go beyond D.E. ballet technique, will begin learning steps to counts in the music, formations changes, defined arm and leg placement and more. Combinations will be strung together using terminology and technique learned in Dance Expressions – therefore a strong understanding of DE is needed to be successful in Petite Dance.
