A ballet based style of dance that concentrates on the emotions and feelings of a song. Dancers dive into the meaning of the music and tell a story with their bodies. Choreography is often slower and controlled while utilizing the muscles, movement, and technique from ballet. It is for this reason that we recommend dancers have at least some training in ballet before joining lyrical.
