Kids helping kids: Dancers and families support global charity

For three consecutive years, Power of Dance studio has supported Feed My Starving Children by organizing teams of volunteers to help with their local MobilePack event. This year was their largest turnout ever, with 81 volunteers working over the course of three days in early October. Power of Dance is a member of two organizations that have a great impact on our studio culture, policies and opportunities.  One of them is More Than Just Great Dancing (MTJGD) which is a support network for dance studios and teachers across the United States and internationally.  The other is the USASF, or United States Learning & Leading

A night of fun and friendship at Power of Dance

On Friday, August 16th the Power of Dance senior team hosted a lock-in for the entire POD All-Star competitive team program. This annual event is the kickoff to the competition season, and an event that all team dancers look forward to each summer. We are so excited to kick off the 2024-25 season! While nearly half of our classes are full, there’s still room in plenty others if your dancer is asking for “just one more class”! Summer Sun & FUNdamentals

Stay hydrated. Drink water before and after class, as well as plenty of small sips during breaks. If you’re sweating a lot in the summer heat, it’s especially important to replenish those fluids. 2024 Senior Spotlight

The studio has three dancers graduating from high school this year, and we could not be more proud of them!  They have all taken different paths to and at the studio, and no matter what path they take forward in their life, we hope that they will continue to dance, whether that’s on a stage 2024 Senior Spotlight
