Class Picture Week Basics

Please arrive at the studio at your “Check in to POD time”. Click here for the make-up picture schedule for Wednesday March 12.

• Dancers are to come in full costume, with hair and make-up done. Click here for their class attire.
  • Some costumes have multiple pieces.  Even if your child tells you that they are not wearing an item, please bring it anyway to be on the safe side.  Label ALL your costume pieces.  It is wise to keep them all together in one bag (a garment bag is preferred).
  • Bring all hair pieces and accessories even if you don’t know if you are wearing them in the photo.
  • Make sure that your dancer has the right color of tights and shoes for each class. You can now order tights and leotards through our online store for easy pickup!
• If your child is in multiple class pictures that evening, dress in the first costume and change after the first picture. Bathrooms will be the only spaces available for changing.
• Hair can be worn how you would like EXCEPT for ballet pictures (bun required).  Click here for hair and makeup guidelines.

POD staff will be in the lobby to greet you and “check in” your dancer. Once the entire class is present, we will do the group photo.

• Please be punctual!  Report at the report time.  We will not be holding up a group if someone is not present.  If you CANNOT make your picture time and know you will not be there, please let Dawn know right away (dawn@powerofdance.com or 920-661-9212).
• Dancers also have the option of taking individual photos as well as “buddy” photos with classmates, siblings or friends in other classes. Individual and buddy photos will be taken at the same time as their class photos. Please see the FAQs document for more information on this.

Only performance classes will have pictures (optional for Music & Movement). All-Star Teams will not take pictures, as they took team pictures in fall. However, Kick teams and Small Groups will take pictures, as well as Junior Faculty.

• All kick reserves should plan on attending pictures and wearing black leggings, a black fitted tank or tee, and your warmup jacket.  If you do not have a warmup jacket, then please wear your blue POD sweatshirt.
• Solos and Duets will be on a first come, first serve basis in the OPEN time slots.  We DO have a tendency to run on time.  Therefore, it is possible to get solos/duets in between the classes as well.  If you are there and prepared, we will do our best to put you in.  There are no guarantees, as classes will need to remain on time, in their time slots, to accommodate those families.  
  • You may sign up for a solo/duet photo time slot in order to guarantee your time in advance. Three time slots are available for each 15 minutes on the form, as each one will receive 5 minutes.  Sign up for solo/duet pictures by contacting Amanda at amanda@powerofdance.com with “Picture Time Slot” in the subject line, and list your 1st and 2nd preferred time slots. She will contact you to let you know your official time.
